In Saumur, less than two kilometres separate Langlois Crémant de Loire from the prestigious Cadre Noir horse riding academy. This close geographical proximity mirrors the special relationship they’ve shared for over 30 years.
Two passions, one vision
Since the early 19th century, the Cadre Noir, a champion of traditional French equitation, has long shared Langlois’ commitment to authenticity, elegance and excellence.
Just as our teams are committed to producing wines with rigour and precision, these elite riders are dedicated heart and soul to their horses. Every day, no matter the season, our teams follow their passion, driven by a common purpose: to bring out the best in what we have by revealing the extraordinary in the everyday.
Strong and genuine bonds
True to its historical roots, Langlois is committed to helping more people discover its terroirs and their rich heritage, which are inscribed on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. The Maison is therefore proud of the strong ties it has formed with Le Cadre Noir, a pivotal player in Saumur’s cultural landscape.
They collaborate on a wide range of projects, with Langlois accompanying Le Cadre Noir on its travels across France and around the globe.
In 2017, the Maison even helped Le Cadre Noir acquire a rare book, written in 1593 by Salomon de la Broue, which sheds a fascinating light on the origins of traditional French equitation.
Through its iconic Crémant de Loire Cadence wine, the Maison pays tribute to the stunning performances given by Le Cadre Noir, the grace of the Selle Français horse breed, and the uniquely refined heritage of this French riding academy.
