Tour of Saumur’s timeless vineyards

This rural tour of the Langlois estate provides a fascinating insight into organic winegrowing and the lifecycle of the vine. Your journey through this stunning nature environment ends with a visit to our cellars, where you’ll discover the art of making our exceptional Saumur sparkling wines, some of which you will be invited to taste

Useful information

Length : 90 minutes (including carriage ride, cellar tour and tasting).

Price : €28 per adult, €15 per child (accompanied by their parents).

Tour times : every Thursday by reservation from 10 May to 30 September, at 2:30 PM and 5:00 PM in French, and at 3:45 PM in English.

Please note : cellar tour limited to 8 people. The tour is partially accessible to accompanied visitors with disabilities. Pets not allowed.

This was such fun. The 2 horses were amazing, strong and gentle. The view from the top of the vineyard is beautiful and the guide was fun and very well informed. The visit to the cave offered respite from the extreme heat that day and the final tasting was excellent. No hesitation in recommending this experience

The vineyards are beautiful and peaceful, the view of Saumur and the castle is impressive. It is also impressive how the horses are managed only by soft voice commands. The guide knew a lot and was super friendly and the cremant is delicious as always.

Liked the cellars and the ride with horse carriage. Nonetheless, the tasting was quite poor in terms of quantity, a little bit more of each vine would help deciding what to buy later

A wonderful carriage ride around the vineyards on a very hot day. Lovely to stop under the trees for a glass of cremant with the chateaux in the distance. Our guide was very informative and spoke in both French and English. Good tour of the cellars and tasting afterwards. Great way to spend the afternoon. Thank you.
